The construction method of this work

went through the most complicated

and challenging process.

Crafted and made

with different materials,

this table is weighted 75KG.

Its four corners of the desktop

were made with a set of

stainless steel finishing inside

of the table.

The hole of the central table

is designed to reduce its weight,

and secondly,

the round hole showing

a complete state of

the natural stone fine-lines,

which implies the modest heart

of determination.

With the most concise

and simple outlines,

Jadis Cheng used

an extremely complicated

and delicate constructive methods,

expressing its own texture of materials.

Table of Modesty shows that

the ultimate practices of technology

can be reverted to the purity

of the indoor furniture

for noble human beings.
